Immediate Start Permanent Positions Workshop Based Market Rates Key Requirements: Extensive experience in materials handling, mining or heavy industrial work Relevant workplace Tickets & Licenses Strong knowledge of conveyor systems Ability to check and predict safety issues Calculating steps and recommending a course of action to prevent failure Duties include: Experience with all forms of Splicing and fitting all forms of belts especially Steel cord Carrying out belt audits and hot & cold splicing Identifying common belt problems and faults and working out the best method of repair Writing reports on work done and work required Effectively communicating safety, site, plant & equipment issues Requirements: Minimum 2 Years experience - Belt Splicing Good knowledge of all forms of Belt Splicing and Installations Previous experience with Fabric, Solid Woven, Steel Cord etc Knowledge of high integrity splicing procedures *Safety conscious and excellent communication skills All applicants must have valid working rights within Australia and must be able to pass pre-employment medicals and drug and alcohol screens.
